The walks calendar page lists when the walks are on and will give the number of places left on each walk. This calendar also indicates when Nigel will be available for bespoke walks.
Quickly leaving the popular village behind you will disciver the secluded heathland lawns and some wonderful winding watercourses

Brockenhurst village gives great access to the very heart of the New Forest. The walk leaves the village centre on quiet footways and streets and very quickly enters the open heathland and lawns that surround the denser forest.
This walk crosses the open heathland and lawn Black Knowl to pick up the water courses of Fletchers and Highland Waters. Following alongside these water courses the walk twists its way over boggy ground and through attractive woodland towards the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. From the drive There walk heads west and then south out of the woodland to skirt past Rhinefield House Hotel towards the open heathland sections of the walk.
The walk crosses stunning heathland slowly rising up towards Holm Hill with far reaching views, interesting bogs and 360 degree views.
From the eastern edge of Wilverley Plain the walk heads east back to Brockenhurst through woodland patches and across the North Weirs open grassland to wind its way back through quiet lanes to the village centre.

From New Forest and south of forest. Head to Burley, New Forest. Go through the village centre towards A31 (Ringwood Road). Continue through narrow winding lanes through Burley Street. Road climbs up hill with Vereley car park on your right after the road has flattened out and straightened.
This postcode will get you to the general area of the car park but NOT the actual car park. PRINT off or make sure you have directions to the car park BEFORE coming to the forest.
